That’s Going In The Quote Book #52

I have the sense of direction of a dead homing pigeon. I think it sometimes gives Ron, who has an amazing sense of direction, a bit of a headache.

So I guess it’s not surprise that today’s quote appealed to both of us. It’s from an Advil commercial – Advil being a pain relief medication that’s commonly used for headaches. It features a cab ride, in which the driver, who is clearly getting more and more lost as the ad progresses, makes various reassuring comments to his fare. One of those comments in particular made both of us laugh.

I know this city like the back of the car in front of me.

It’s very much the sort of thing I’d say as I take us further and further off course. Fortunately, Ron’s always there to get me back on track.

Even if he might have to pop and Advil or two, first.
